Stage 1 Snowdon Master's Scholarship applications will open on 23 February 2026 at 12:00 noon. The deadline for this stage is 19 March 2026 at 11:55pm.
Listed below are the key sections of the stage 1 application.
You will need to provide details such as your name and contact information
You will be asked to upload a CV, maximum 2 pages. If you do not have or want to create your own, you can use our CV template.
You will be asked to provide the name of your masters course, the university you will be attending, and information regarding the status of your application.
You will also be asked the following questions:
- Why have you chosen this specific university and course? Please explain why this specific master’s programme is the right choice for your academic and career goals. If you’ve chosen this institution for accessibility reasons, please explain this context. [max 200 words]
- Have you also applied to any other masters programmes? If yes, please list the course name, university and current application status for each. [max 100 words]
You will be asked the following questions:
- Select the category that best describes your disability, condition, long-term illness, learning difference, or combination of these. There will be a dropdown menu for you to select from.
- What is your disability or disabilities? You will be required to provide evidence of your diagnosis at stage 2. [max 100 words]
- What disadvantages relating to your disability, health condition or access needs have you experienced in education? [max 250 words]
- Briefly describe your current financial situation and explain why this scholarship would make a difference for you. [max 250 words]
You will be asked the following questions:
- How do you define leadership in the context of your own experience, achievements and ambitions? [max 300 words]
- In which sector(s) are you committed to driving progress and representation? [Select up to three areas from the dropdown menu]
- What specific changes do you want to create through your studies and future work? [max 300 words]
This section is optional. If you decide to not answer these questions, it will not affect the success of your application.
You will be asked about your age, gender, ethnicity and disability
Here, you will be asked to confirm our Data Use Agreement:
- Your application data may be used anonymously to help us analyse diversity information, evaluate the impact of the scholarship, and improve future outreach.
- We may use aggregated and anonymised data to support fundraising, demonstrate the value of the award, and to publicly promote the scholarship.
- No personally identifiable information will be shared without your explicit consent.
