Your legacy gift will help break down barriers facing Disabled Students and take us a step closer to a world where inclusion is no longer a goal.

Nina's legacy

In 2016, Nina Finburgh left a gift in her will which launched our Master's Scholarship programme: a springboard which propels exceptional Disabled Students towards their leadership goals.

Nina devoted a large part of her life to empowering and enabling others. She was a talented performer but preferred to help others step into the limelight. She taught at various stage schools including RADA and at the Actors Centre in London as well as giving 1:1 tuition. She also very much believed in performance and dance movement as therapy and worked with various groups, including Disabled People, Young Offenders, and ex-servicemen and women.

Nina’s legacy gift to The Snowdon Trust was a gift of enablement – imagine what your legacy could be?

Thank you so so much. You really do make dreams come true, and helped me to observe my disability in a different light. It is another challenge, which life is full of anyway. It is a part of me, but in no way will it hinder what I aim to achieve - or how I go about it.
