Elizabet Ciochina

Elizabet is the founder of 'Sunshine Therapy', a project focused on making subconscious reprogramming therapy more accessible.

She aspires to specialise in trauma-informed and culturally sensitive psychotherapy, with a particular interest in supporting disabled individuals and those from marginalised backgrounds. Her work is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a therapeutic space that honours their dignity, autonomy and lived experience.

Emma de Saram

Emma is an active advocate, creative and prominent youth voice across the disability and climate justice sector, having spoken on the national and international stage including COP26, the Global Tipping Points Conference and G20 Progress Summit.

She aspires to research and address the disproportionate risk that climate change poses to disabled people globally, and explore practical solutions to these intersectional issues.

Isobel Connolly

Isobel is a musical director who is passionate about access to music and theatre. She recently completed her BA in Music at the University of Oxford, where she gained experience through student theatre, working on youth productions, and volunteering for community music projects. She organised workshops with industry leaders to demystify careers in theatre and encourage the development of inclusive, professional practice in student-run rehearsal rooms.

Isobel is keen to raise awareness of invisible disabilities and to reduce the stigma surrounding gastrointestinal conditions and ostomy surgery. She hopes to utilise her experiences to advocate for access to education and artistic expression, particularly for young people impacted by serious illness and disability. She aspires to increase representation of women and Disabled People amongst musicians and creatives working in theatre, and for that representation to be reflected in the stories that are being told on stage.

MA Choreography - Central School of Ballet

Joseph Powell-Main

Joseph is an experienced ballet dancer and choreographer, becoming the first wheelchair user to perform with The Royal Ballet Company, and later becoming the first disabled classical choreographer commissioned by them. He created 'Strength in Adversity', a piece which he also performed in alongside dancers from National Youth Ballet as part of The Royal Ballet's 'Next Generation Festival 2024'.

Joe has recently formed JPM Productions, a production company dedicated to creating new accessible dance work through collaboration. He aspires to increase representation within the field of ballet, and create further opportunities for disabled choreographers and dancers.

Lettice Raby

Letty is a recent Biomedical Engineering graduate with a passion for applying their problem solving skills and lived experience of disability to the development of assistive technology.

They aspire to design bespoke assistive devices tailored to individuals with unique needs, who are often underserved by mainstream products.

Lizzie Smith

Lizzie is a dedicated professional committed to advancing disability inclusion. In 2023, using both her professional and personal experience as a disabled person, she founded a multi-award winning start-up that aims to explain complex health conditions to young children in an accessible and age-appropriate manner. She is also a public speaker, leading talks and workshops on disability rights, inclusive education, and how business, accessibility and disability intersect.

Her future goal is to develop a consultancy focused on embedding disability into the heart of organisational strategy and culture, supporting businesses in recognising the value of disabled talent and improving employment opportunities for disabled people across the UK.

MA Composition for Film and Television - University of Bristol

Louis Cross

Louis is a media composer with a passion for creating immersive soundscapes for film, theatre and video games. He is involved with many accessibility and mentoring initiatives within the music industry.

He aims to create an accessible music studio both for composition and teaching, and aspires to become the first disabled composer to win 'Best Film Score' at the BAFTA's.

Olivia Twiss

Olivia is experienced in the EDI field and currently advocates for children experiencing family court proceedings.

She aims to influence policy specifically at the intersection of lived experience, children's rights, disability inclusion and family court proceedings.
